Our main office is based near Winchester and we have an office in Andover. We have been operating across the South of England for over 25 years.

Meet the Management Team
Nigel Newman FFA
Nigel is the tax partner at Smith Newmans and has over 25 years experience in practice. He brings particular expertise in tax planning and business development advice and works closely with his portfolio of clients, which range from start-ups to larger established businesses. Outside of work, Nigel is a keen golfer, but his other sporting interests are now only spectating, mainly football and cricket. He has had a lifelong interest in animals, wildlife and reading books.
Carole Taylor FCA
Carole is a partner at Smith Newmans who has a wealth of experience as a Chartered Accountant. She qualified in 1989, became a Fellow ten years later and started her own business in 1993. She specialises in small business and is part of Andover Women In Business (AWIB). Carole has two grown-up children and in her spare time, enjoys watching sports (live, if possible!), in particular football, cricket and Formula 1.
Melanie Finch MAAT
Melanie is the office manager at Smith Newmans and has previously taught accountancy qualifications in local colleges. She is also responsible for training staff and clients on accountancy software. In her spare time, Melanie likes to keep fit by running and working out at the gym and she also likes to spend time with her dogs and cats.
Vicci Elliot FCA
Vicci is the accounts manager at Smith Newmans. She has been a qualified chartered accountant for 10 years, working in both small practices and in industry. Outside of work she has been a follower of Reading Football Club for 20 years and has never missed a match, home or away. Vicci has played football herself but now is just a spectator of the sport. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her cat.
